Biography

Rob returned to the triangle in April, 2016.  Previously he worked at Pop’s Trattoria and  Elaine’s on Franklin.

Originally from Alaska, Rob attended Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After working at Emeril’s NOLA, Rob returned to Alaska and worked in fine dining and catering. His catering experience includes cooking in a small fine dining setting to large outdoor weddings and events.  Career highlights are cooking for President Obama in an intimate house party setting and Al Roker when he visited Alaska with the TODAY SHOW.  He is passionate about local and indigenous ingredients and working with the host to create the perfect meal. He is excited to be back in the triangle area working with the local bounty NC has to offer.

He is always ready to help host a pasta or sushi class, cook for an event for your special day or make sure your meal is special at The Boot.
