I love what I do. I mean I really. Love. What I do. The excitement for me starts right away when I hear an idea – any idea – and then we cultivate that idea until it’s ready to bring to life. I love the infinite possibilities that exist in a broad-scope idea. I love reaching into the corners of my brain for just the right resources that have been waiting for just the right project. I love knowing that I’ve helped an award-winning director or a novice photographer give their very best, and I love when talent walks away from set smiling and confident.
I’m a facilitator; a problem-solver; a creative partner.
I build successful teams of storytellers and orchestrate flight from take-off to touch-down so creative teams can work in tandem to bring beautiful stories to life. Under any budget. And when all the pieces come together seamlessly in the background to facilitate this complex choreography, on and off set, that’s when I am the most creatively fulfilled. That’s what energizes me. That’s why I do what I do. It’s pretty magical.
In my 20 years telling stories all over the world, I’ve been privileged to have been part of some incredible projects in a wide range of mediums. Most recently, I was thrilled to produce the feature film, Christmas Break-In, in collaboration with Koan Distribution and G! It’s Entertainment, featuring Danny Glover, Denise Richards and Cameron Seely, and we’re all excited for the full release on Netflix this December! Additionally, I’m proud that the production support of TKSilver Productions helped director Rosemary Williams, receive the Sundance Institute Fellow award for her episodic project “MXC: The Invention of Tomorrow”. Currently, I’m very excited to be in post-production for my first international short documentary with director Nathaniel Schmidt, in partnership with Gravity Films in South Australia.
